What’s this LOST thing
all about?

Limavady Outreach and Service Team is representative of the congregations in the local area and seeks to organise and co-ordinate Christian-based youth work in our community.

Its aims are?

- To organise physical, social and spiritual events
- To reach young people for Christ
- To provide service opportunities for younger Christians

Who’s involved?

Each year an Events Crew of around 30 Christian young people (year 11+) is selected and given responsibility for helping to organise and staff a wide range of activities and events including the LOST weekend in March.

Prayer.

We have no privilege more awesome than prayer. What more could we ask for than a direct line with God 24 hours a day? God is keenly interested in us, willing to listen and eager to hear our voices. So please pray for LOST this year.

Please pray that:

  • That the Lost Crew and Team will be guided by God in all preparations to be made in the lead up to the LOST weekend.
  • For courage and enthusiasm for the young people distributing invitations around schools and the local area.
  • That many young people will be encouraged to come along to LOST events.
  • For the Three Thirty Band, that their music will add to the themes each night.
  • For everyone involved in preparing drama, especially those from local schools.
  • For those looking after all the technical equipment.
  • For the speaker, Steven McCready as he prepares his talks.
  • That many young people will come to saving faith in Jesus Christ.
  • That young Christians will grow in their faith.
  • That God will have the Glory in ALL things.
